The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a hotel, and we slept well in a clean room with a comfortable bed. If you’re a light sleeper, though, ask for a room at the front. Traffic from the highway is audible at the back.

Most things were fine, but the hot tub was closed and the so-called heated pool was barely warm. At breakfast, the attendant seemed to keep a close eye on the “More Melinated” guests and not the others. Smh, it’s sad this is still happening these days.

I’ve stayed here more than five times without a problem, but this visit was awful. I was in 318, and the room was dirty: wax or gum stuck to the floor, Bobby pins all over, and dust and who knows what on the hair dryer bag. One pillow was flat and had a huge brown stain, and the AC unit beside the bed sounded like it might explode. I had to clean the slimy hot tub myself before using it, and filling it took forever. I filled it twice. The pool was freezing, like Lake Erie in January, and the pillows were terrible. The mini fridge needed ice before it would get cold. Breakfast was gross. The coffee tasted like diesel fuel, the gravy was so thick it could patch 224, and the waffles were no good. We went elsewhere for breakfast and checked out earlier than planned. At checkout I spoke to the desk and left the manager a voicemail. Three days later, nobody had called; I’d only gotten a cheap response to this review. The front desk said they couldn’t do anything, and management wasn’t available. The desk person said the hotel was due for a remodel. I hope they remodel the staff too, because the customer service was sad. After paying 250 bucks, I should’ve stayed at a Hilton. I liked the location, with the Galaxy next door, but I guess I’ll try the other hotel or another town. They also wouldn’t take Choice rewards. Cash is king, and if places stop taking cash, that’ll be bad for all of us. It’s unfortunate that an expensive hotel can’t take care of its customers. Thanks for the lack of hospitality. I don’t recommend this place anymore, and I’m going to have to escalate this.

We pulled in for the night because of the weather and were very happy with the accommodations. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was clean and spacious.
