There are good places to eat all around, and the hotel is definitely animal friendly. The staff are totally friendly, the coffee is always good, and the shower has the best water pressure anywhere. The place is worn, though, and not as clean as a name brand hotel. The group I was with had different room experiences, mostly negative.

The room smelled strongly of weed and was a mess, with marijuana roaches on the bedspread. The tub wouldn’t drain unless you held the lever down. At check-in, the gentleman told me to let him know if there was a problem with the neighbor, saying people had complained about her standing in the parking lot screaming at someone who wasn’t there. There was nobody in the office to call, and nobody there when I tried to check out. If you have any other hotel option, go there.

I stayed five days in the first week of August 2017 because, a couple of weeks earlier, this was the only hotel that would let me stay that long. The price was good at $55, but it wasn’t worth it. Both rooms, 105 and 303, smelled terrible, and my first room hadn’t been cleaned. The door locks were changed every day. While I was there, the place was known for hookers and heroin. Police came on three separate visits between 5pm and 11pm, with 7 officers in total. It felt very dangerous, and I’d never recommend it.

My room was really close to the highway, so it was loud at all hours. Otherwise, it was very clean and comfortable. Manager Alice is the sweetest person ever. I’ve stayed here many times before and will keep coming back.
