Days Inn by Wyndham Walcott Davenport

This was the most disgusting room I've ever seen, and there wasn't another hotel here to choose from. The bed was broken, the chair was broken and covered in stains, and dirty water streaks marked the bathroom walls. The towels had holes in them. Just awful.

We had a reservation and arrived at 3 AM, but I stood at the front desk for half an hour without seeing a single employee. I called the phone about 15 times and rang the front doorbell at least as often, with no response. The hotel seemed unsecured, since anyone could come in off the street and walk through the halls. With our four-year-old, we had to scramble to find another local hotel at nearly 4 in the morning. This was the worst Days Inn experience I've ever had.

The front desk guy was really friendly, and after checking in and showering, I'm already sorry I'm only here for two nights. The room is beautiful, the property is well maintained, and the water pressure and TV are great. There's a good location with lots of food options at this exit. I'd read some unfair reviews and was pleasantly surprised. I don't know what some people expect, or why they're quicker to post bad reviews than good ones. As an OTR trucker, I appreciate a nice stay and highly recommend this place.

The phone in the room was broken, the bedding had holes and ashes in it, and the carpet was badly stained. In the morning I found water all over the bathroom floor by the toilet. The worker at the front desk said the maid would clean it up later. When I called Priceline about the problem, the clerk lied and said I'd done something to the toilet. After I disputed the charge with my credit card company, they gave me a plunger and told me to fix it myself, then handed over their last two towels and again said housekeeping would deal with it in the morning. No pool, restaurant, or Wi-Fi either. Find another hotel.
