Hampton Inn Waldorf

There are some handy places to eat and shop nearby, including a Carraba's across the parking field, plus a Starbucks, Cracker Barrel, and Crumbl Cookies. I've stayed here twice, and for a Hampton this one is top shelf. The front desk was helpful, the rooms were impeccably clean, and I slept well both nights.

The public bathroom made me feel exposed. Part of the wall seemed to be missing where I think the toilet paper holder goes, so you could see into the next stall. I'll attach pictures. The guest services staff looked and acted professional and were nice. The woman taking care of the breakfast area was especially attentive and pleasant. On the second day, breakfast included bacon and eggs as well as the usual waffles, bagels, and similar items, and it was very good. My room, though, wasn't as clean as it should have been. We recently spent two nights at this Hampton Inn.

The pool was the main reason I booked here, but it was disgusting and stayed closed for our entire visit. The room was filthy when we checked in, and it still wasn't cleaned at all during our stay. Towels and toilet paper weren't restocked, even when we asked. We ran out and had to go to the desk ourselves for both. When we asked for an extra blanket for our daughter on the pullout bed, we were told there weren't any. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were awful. The thermostat was broken, and the TV kept logging us out and telling us we'd checked out. It even welcomed other people to our room. I've had more frustrating experiences here, but you get the idea. I never leave reviews, but I'm so irritated I'd rate it zero out of ten. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Book somewhere else.

I stayed here Friday, June 20, 2026, and somehow managed to hit three problems. The business center was out of service, and so was the pool. The next morning, I made a waffle and found there was no maple syrup. Should've gone to the nearby Cracker-Barrel for pancakes.
