The rooms are spacious, the location is amazing, and the staff are kind, friendly, and really helpful. I stayed for a few weeks and had a good experience overall, aside from three things. The Wi-Fi was slow at times and kept disconnecting my devices. After each housekeeping visit, there was an unpleasant smell; I reported it but didn't notice any change. On different days I also found three to five bugs in the shower. I looked them up online and they weren't dangerous, but finding them still left me unsettled.

The staff were friendly and quick to help, but our room could use updates and more attention to detail. Several blinds didn't work: one wouldn't close and the others wouldn't open, so we hung towels to block the light at night. There were no dishes, the shower curtain was ripped on the inside, and the bathroom toilet didn't seem firmly attached to the wall. The service was good, but fixing these things would make the stay much better.

Phillip was very friendly and helpful when we checked in, and the hotel is in a great location that feels safe. But after three nights, I'm not sure we'd stay again. Our stay had been wonderful, with a very clean bed and room, until the last night, when we found a bed bug on the couch in room 319. My partner searched the couch, room, and bed thoroughly while I panicked. The only other ones we found seemed to be hiding in the gap where the couch arm meets the back. Since it was our final night, we focused on precautions so we wouldn't bring any home. The bed and room were clean, we had no bites, and we stayed in the bedroom rather than the suite's seating area. Still, it was hard to sleep knowing we'd been exposed. At checkout, I told the two women at the desk, but they seemed unconcerned and suggested it might be fleas because the third floor is pet friendly, something we hadn't known. Fleas or bed bugs, either is unacceptable. I took a picture of one of the bugs on a lint roller sheet. Also, Phillip was the only person we saw at the front desk during our stay apart from checkout. No one was there whenever we checked, which seemed odd.

I'm extremely disappointed. On two nights in a row, someone in a room next to or above mine smoked cannabis. The first night was bad enough, so I told the front desk the next morning, but it happened again that night. Nothing seems to have been done about whoever was responsible. The staff tried to convince me the smell came from someone outside, but it wasn't. It filled my bathroom, so I think the smoke came through the vents from someone smoking in their bathroom. It was really strong and left my clothes reeking of pot, which was embarrassing on a business trip.
