Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Walnut

The staff were nice, and I stayed several days without hearing traffic from the interstate next door. The building looks a little dated, but I had no problems. My bed was clean and comfortable, there were no bugs, and the bright white bathroom linens were soft and absorbent. The sink and tub/shower water got nice and hot. Hallways are wide, and the lobby seating is comfortable. There’s limited truck parking and a Maverick Store across the street where you can get adult beverages, including popular whiskey brands. No curry odors.

We got quick, easy service and clean rooms with comfortable beds. It was a regular weekday and we may have been the only guests, but they still put out breakfast for us. No complaints.

The staff were friendly, and although the building is dated, it’s been kept up really well. My room was very clean. The location just off I-80 is handy, with a convenience store and gas station across the street within walking distance. There’s also a restaurant and bar about a minute away by car, or roughly a ten-minute walk.

The front desk was really nice when we asked for somewhere to eat, and being right off the freeway makes the location convenient. The exterior walls are very thin, so there’s a lot of road noise. We only stayed one night, and it was worth it. It was raining off and on, but I would’ve liked to use the pool.
