Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boston Walpole

We were there for a night after our home lost power. The front desk gentleman was the best part, exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean, and the continental breakfast was decent, with bagels, English muffins, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit juices, milk, tea and coffee. The indoor pool is small, just enough for splashing around, and tops out at 3' 11". The water was warm, and watching snow fall through the big glass windows was fun. I’d stay here again without a question.

Every person I dealt with, from the front desk to maintenance and breakfast, was unfailingly polite and helpful. That reflects well on Michelle’s leadership. I’d stayed here once before, and this second visit confirms it’ll stay near the top of my list when I’m in Massachusetts. I was in town for a funeral and arrived early. Michelle, the General Manager, got me checked in ahead of time. It took a little longer because she and her team were moving to new software over several days and learning it as they went, but she stayed calm throughout. During my three-night stay, she was at the desk every time I passed, day or night.

The room was clean and looked like it came straight from a catalog, and the bed and linens were comfortable. Checking out was the easiest I’ve ever experienced. Thanks to the team working last night. The front desk woman, whose name I can’t remember, made booking quick and easy even with everyone looking for a room during the blizzard. Andy was helpful getting everybody situated inside and outside the building. So accommodating.

The location worked really well for everywhere I needed to go. My room was very clean and had plenty of space after they upgraded me to a suite. The front desk staff were very nice too. Had a wonderful recent stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
