The walk to Disney Springs was lovely, and we had a delicious dinner at D-Luxe Burger before strolling back. We also ate at The Artist’s Palette, where the food was fresh and there were good choices for both adults and kids. Our 2-bedroom villa in The Paddock felt roomy and comfortable, like home. The refurbished rooms are fresh and modern but still have that classic Saratoga feel. We loved the area too, with its own pool and splash pad, and peaceful grounds with views of Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. It’s a big resort, which makes it great for taking a walk and enjoying the setting. This was a bittersweet staycation after plans changed unexpectedly. My dad had booked the villa for himself and my grandpa, and we were fortunate to be able to stay instead. Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has always been a favorite, and this weekend it gave us the comfort we needed. That DVC feeling really does hit different.

The room was a great fit for four adults and a toddler on our daughter’s third birthday trip. We’d had a third party decorate for her and my wife’s birthday, and Housekeeping added such a sweet surprise: gifts and a towel “cake.” The Cast made the stay feel extra magical. Now we’re seriously looking into DVC so we can stay in accommodations like this again.

We used to stay here often, then started choosing hotels closer to the parks. The new room updates have me reconsidering. Our studio was so spacious, and the soft Murphy bed is a big improvement over those uncomfortable pullout couches. Everything felt sleek and welcoming, and the kids loved “hey Disney” Alexa.

Anna K made our first stay at Saratoga Springs as DVC members feel special from the moment we checked in. The welcome and service were top notch. Since it was also our first trip to Disney world, she took time to explain the property and main attractions, then surprised us with a thoughtful note and little token. We felt so welcome, and her warmth and attention were unmatched. A huge thank you to Anna for making the trip memorable. The room was immaculate, and every other staff member we met was polite and friendly too. It was a grand experience, and we can’t wait to book Saratoga again.

If you’re after a quiet, cozy place with horses, racing and art themes, this is a good fit. It doesn’t have the same Disney feel as some of the other resorts, but that suits its late 1800s Saratoga retreat charm. You do get more of that Disney magic if you’re staying on the Disney Springs view side.
