High Point Motel

Melanie really made this stay for us. She was warm, helpful, and easy to reach, and we’d come back if she’s hosting. The room was clean, there was plenty of hot water in the shower, and the TV was the biggest I’ve seen outside a movie theater. We had a delightful time here.

The room had a small fridge and microwave, handy if you’re watching your budget. It was clean, and the staff were friendly and easy to reach. This is a peaceful, relaxing spot at an affordable price, close to High Point State Park and about 30 minutes from the mineral museums in Franklin and other places nearby. I stayed here while visiting the Fluorescent Mines in Franklin. There’s no coffee maker, so bring cold brew or a travel coffee maker.

Snow-covered nature right outside made for spectacular views, and everything in the room was spotless and comfortable. The sheets, pillows, and towels smelled so fresh. I arrived after 9 PM because of travel delays, but I’d called ahead and they had the room ready. They handled the late arrival professionally and were warm and accommodating. My one-night stay at High Point Mountain Motel was perfect. It exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely return.

Melanie was super friendly and more than accommodating. The rooms are immaculate, with lovely decorations and linens, full-sized refrigerators, and big high-definition TVs. What a great hidden gem in Sussex County. Highly recommended!
