The Inn At Warm Springs

The night sky was a real surprise for someone coming from the city. With so little light pollution, we could see loads of stars and even the Milky Way. I’d originally only needed somewhere to sleep, but this place turned out to be a gem. We ate dinner in the Tavern, and reservations are strongly encouraged, nearly a must. While we waited, other guests kept talking about how good the food was. My steak tasted salty, though I understand that's how it's meant to be. I couldn't finish it, but I wasn't disappointed. The food everywhere was delicious, and the employees were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was much more than we expected, with a really nice spread every morning. Since we were there through Monday, they brought it to our room. I can't wait to return and see more of the place.

The rooms stayed quiet despite being close to the intersection with highway 39, and the Jefferson warm springs are right across the street. You can even see steam coming up from the bath houses and start looking forward to a soak. The staff were so kind, and they put on a delicious Christmas breakfast buffet with all the trimmings. Probably one of the best places I've stayed!

Breakfast arrived at our door at the agreed time, and it was clearly more than the usual hotel fare. The scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, fruit, muffin, orange juice, and coffee were all delicious and felt thoughtfully made. Our room was clean, the shower was nice, and we had no noise issues. It was easy to get to the warm pools across the road, and there was a restaurant and bakery attached to the inn. We'd definitely come back.

The staff were friendly, dogs are allowed, and our furnished room was close to the hot spring. We’ll be back. Dinner at the restaurant takes advance planning since it’s small and has limited seating, so make a reservation, or drive into the resort to eat.
