Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Warrington Horsham

Kat at the front desk and Lil, if I have her name right, made a real difference. Both were warm and helpful, and Kat was caring and quick-witted, with a bit of Susan Sarandon about her. The rest of the staff I met were friendly too. I’ve stayed at three area hotels this week, and Hampton Inn & Suites in Warrington was easily the best. It’s modern, clean, bright, and the room’s heat and plumbing both worked properly. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was reliably nice. Rates were competitive as well. They’re renovating now, which should be good since the place already looks great. Elevator #2 made worrying sounds, though, and took a while to open after reaching a floor. Hopefully that gets dealt with during the work. I expect to stay here more often for business. I had a great experience.

The bug in my apple juice was the last straw. I showed it to everyone I was with, and the breakfast server saw me throw the drink away before going to inspect the machine. I’d already lost my appetite and tossed the rest of my breakfast. The French toast hadn’t been cooked through anyway. My room smelled bad, and the bedding was awful. The heater was loud enough to keep waking me. I’d set it to 75, but when I got up to turn it down, I realized it had never gone above the 69 it showed at check-in, despite being set to 70 then. People were also making noise in the hall all night. The elevator vent exposed a view of a filthy area with trash on the ground floor. Someone with me said their room had several broken things, including the shower head, though we didn’t discuss the rest.

We were headed to Delaware Valley University, only 15 minutes away, and this turned out to be one of my best hotel stays. I checked in through the app and used it to unlock our room, so with my hands full I didn’t have to stop at reception. Nazier was especially kind and made sure my daughters and I were comfortable. The whole staff was friendly, and the breakfast team were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had lots of choices and tasted great. Everyone was happy. I’d happily recommend this hotel to people passing through.

Travel plans changed unexpectedly, and Tea Scott, the Front Office Manager at Hampton Inn Horsham, made sorting things out easy. She handled our request quickly and kindly, turning what could’ve been a stressful hassle into a smooth experience. The hotel was clean and in a great location too. We had a wonderful stay.
