Home2 Suites by Hilton Warminster Horsham

Right by the turnpike exit, the location was perfect, with plenty of greenery, sidewalks, and a community park with a little pond next door. I stayed one night with my service dog, and for such a good price it was the best hotel experience I’ve had in a long time. Everything was clean and smelled lovely, the service was great, and the sheets and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. I’d come back anytime.

The pool was chilly, nowhere near the 81 degrees I expected, and breakfast was a letdown: cold, old coffee, no food labels, and nobody available to help. There was only one serving utensil, making it hard for guests with dietary restrictions. I also wasn’t welcomed as a Hilton Honors member or given the arrival gift. My room had no forks, though it did have spoons and knives. Plastic forks came after I called, and when I needed them again the next day, I eventually got regular ones. I was missing the ergonomic chair listed in the room description, so I couldn’t use the desk. When I asked, I was first told chairs were only provided on business days for people on Zoom calls. The next day another employee said that was wrong and brought a chair that smelled like smoke. After I asked for a clean one, they brought one from a neighboring room. I was very disappointed with the service and all the missing items, and felt I had to fight for things that should have been there. I don’t understand why the room wasn’t checked or why staff didn’t fix the problems right away.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, in keeping with the brand, but the front desk manager’s service ruined the stay at Home2 Suites in Warminster, PA. As a Hilton Gold member, I asked early in the morning for a late checkout for our group and was told abruptly that they don’t do them there. When I asked if that matched Hilton policy, she said it was a franchise and they didn’t have to follow Hilton’s rules. Then I found out someone else in our group had already been given a late checkout by another employee. I raised that politely to ask for fair treatment, and she got furious, demanding the room number so she could cancel it immediately. The hostility and inconsistency were shocking. We like the Home2 Suites concept for its reliability and perks, but this location’s management makes it a no-go. If you expect the courtesy and consistency Hilton promises, especially as a rewards member, look elsewhere. It isn’t worth the hassle.

Breakfast was great, and parking spaces were limited. My weeklong stay started out promising, but the bathroom mirror notice said housekeeping came every other day and it still felt like I had to keep after them to get the room cleaned. Communication between the front desk and housekeeping seemed poor. I also found a bug after stripping the bedding. I can’t say what it was, but I’ll leave the picture for reference.
