Days Inn by Wyndham Warsaw

The manager was a splendid host, kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. People like that are rare these days. I’m grateful I chose this place, and if you’re in Warsaw, don’t hesitate to stay here. I travel for electrical work and, for two years, hadn’t had a decent night’s rest after awful stays in different cities across the U.S. There’d been extreme noise, trash in hallways, and unfit rooms. This hotel was miles better: quiet, with comfortable beds and pillows, modern appliances, daily housekeeping, and affordable rates. It’s also in a great area with restaurants and other services nearby.

After 15 hours of driving, the friendly, helpful staff gave my stay a great start. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location worked well. A+++, I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and the staff knew what was going on around town. I booked two nights through Booking.com at a really good rate, and we were in room 222 on the second floor. The king bed was very comfortable and made up nicely with four thick, lovely pillows. I normally need two pillows, but one of these was enough. The shower had good pressure, and the soft water left my skin feeling wonderful. The air-conditioning worked well, and the window opened and closed without any trouble. I’d recommend the place and would stay again if I return to Warsaw.

We had two rooms for July 4, booked ahead, but both were boiling when we got in at 11. The air-conditioning was off and each thermostat showed 85 degrees. With no airflow, both rooms smelled. By morning, one had a strong mildew odor. They let us switch that room the next morning, which helped, and the replacement didn’t smell like mildew. The whole hotel felt dingy despite some effort to keep it clean. Carpets were dirty, all three of our rooms smelled, and the curtains had holes. They advertise free breakfast and gym access, but breakfast was only coffee and the workout room was completely empty. I can’t say I enjoyed the stay. It wouldn’t be the worst place for a night or two if you’re not spending much time in the room, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have to stay there.
