We stayed this weekend with our two kids, and they had a great time. They loved the pool and the arcade room, and both are already asking when we can come back.

My husband and I paid $240 for one night in a room that was supposed to have a Jacuzzi. I called the number on the hotel's Google business listing and said I wanted a Jacuzzi suite. They told me they had one, and I was clear that I wanted a room with a Jacuzzi. We picked up the key, went to the room, and there was no Jacuzzi. I wasn't staying in the wrong room, so we went downstairs and asked for a refund. The woman said that because I'd booked through a third party, I had to call them. I told her I'd booked through their business, and she said she knew. I called to explain what happened and that we were going home without staying. When I heard nothing, I called the hotel again. A man told me the refund had been denied because THE HOTEL SAID WE STAYED THERE. I was furious. There are cameras all over, and my Google GPS shows I was there for only 26 minutes. I said I'd call an attorney because businesses doing this to people is wrong. He said they could look into it again if I could prove it, and I said yes. By then the allowed time had passed, and I felt I should get interest. BEWARE, THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU. I also reported them to the BBB.

The staff tried to accommodate us by moving us to another room, and that one was better than the first. The people at the desk were friendly, but the hotel had too many problems, and after the struggle to get our money back and find another place, I wouldn't have stayed otherwise. The first Jacuzzi room was dark as a cave even with the lights on, and the air conditioner above the fireplace was out of reach for someone my height, so the room was stifling. The hot tub was so cracked and chipped I couldn't tell what was dirt and wouldn't use it. Walking around the hotel, we found holes in walls where ice makers had apparently been removed, old machines left beside the new ones with hard water deposits, and other empty spaces that looked unsightly. The hotel looked okay at first, but not once you explored more. Most elevators weren't working, and the one at the back was sketchy, with lights that wouldn't come on and strange noises. At one point we thought we heard dripping. The phone in both rooms didn't work. In the second room, wires were exposed on the cord, and we couldn't be heard when calling the front desk. The bathroom light and bedroom TV were out, and the living room remote was sticky, maybe from age rather than food. The kitchen chairs were falling apart, including a broken bottom slat on one. Water pressure was low, and the air conditioner in one room couldn't be reached because of where it was placed. The hotel's website and travel sites, as well as the reservation number with the 574 area code, all said breakfast was available. At the hotel, they told us they hadn't offered it for several years. They also made us pay when we arrived, before we even saw the rooms. Most hotels let you pay at checkout, and now I know why this one doesn't.

Terrible. The check-in clerk was rude and said the pool had to close half an hour early so they could treat it. The pool and hot tub were the greenest I've ever seen, and I didn't want my kid getting in. The iron in the room didn't work, the clerk smoked right outside the door, and breakfast wasn't very good either.
