Comfort Inn Downtown DC/Convention Center

The room was clean and suited my needs, and breakfast was good and filling each morning. My one suggestion would be to update the water system so it gets hotter, especially in the morning. The customer service was among the best I’ve had at a hotel. Every staff member was pleasant, flexible, and accommodating. I’d definitely return if I stay in DC again. #FiveStarsPlus

This is my favourite place to stay in DC when I’m looking for good value. It isn’t a five-star hotel with oversized, fancy rooms, and the price reflects that, but the value is easily five stars. Everything is clean, the beds are comfortable, and even the basic Wi-Fi is pretty fast. Coffee is available almost all the time. The staff are wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The gym is well equipped, with a good range of weights, two treadmills, two ellipticals, and a multipurpose weight machine. The location is great too, with easy walks to the Convention Center, Whitehouse, and several metro stations. I’ll happily stay here again and again.

We got a lot for the price, and the hotel was a highlight of our trip. The room was clean, towels were changed daily, and they replenished soap and other supplies. It seemed well soundproofed, since we didn’t realize how many people were staying there. I only noticed the baby next door when I went into the hall. I liked the whole atmosphere. Service was top notch. Everyone at the front desk greeted us as soon as we arrived. Coffee, lemon water, cookies, and tea were always on hand, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options and saved us from having to go out. The fitness center had a full weight set, treadmills, and pulley machines, not just one treadmill like at many hotels. The price was affordable, too. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

The location made it easy to reach major attractions, while the hotel itself was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The staff were super welcoming and nice, and it was convenient to have a gym and laundry area for guests. Breakfast was decent, and it was good value for money. The only things that bothered me were the weak shower pressure and the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom.
