The room was clean and comfortable, with the usual things like towels, toiletries, a TV and an iron. I did miss having bottled water. It may seem minor, but to me that would show the company was willing to make an extra effort for its guests. I also felt a little uneasy seeing a small group of youngsters hanging around outside the hotel. I know they probably wouldn't have interacted with me or my family, but it still made us uncomfortable.

The location worked well with or without a car, and the views depend on the room, though none look out at walls or AC units. Breakfast was delicious, and watching John handle a busy morning was something else. He was juggling two sleepovers checking out, an angry couple with parking problems, early arrivals, and parking attendants rage baiting him. Hats off to him for his hospitality. We also had a door card reader glitch that locked us out. It took nine cards and then one key fob, but the front desk gentleman made getting us in a priority and kept at it. Check-in with Lashay was easy, and she clearly explained parking and the fees, which was appreciated.

We arrived around 1AM after an Airbnb nightmare, and the staff were so kind and found a way to accommodate us that late. The location was great, and the room was nice with a comfortable bed.

After I had a heart attack in the hotel lobby last summer, the staff were incredible. I’m told they were great during the incident, and they also checked in by email several times over the following months. I’ll stay here next time I’m in DC.

The location is very convenient, but my four-night stay was unpleasant because of the service. I asked for daily room cleaning, yet it never happened, and there was no bottled water in the room either. At checkout I realized I’d forgotten to request a receipt, so I called the front desk. The person put me on hold several times for about 10 minutes total and still couldn’t find my reservation, even after I gave my full name and confirmation number. Check-in was another problem. My company assistant had booked under my English name, which I use for work, email, and my badge, while my driver’s license has a different name. I understand needing to verify my identity, but the front desk staff were unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. It took nearly an hour to get checked in, and it was already after midnight. The poor service and unprofessional attitude made the stay very unpleasant. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
