Days Inn by Wyndham Washington Pennsylvania

Awful. I booked in a hurry without reading the reviews first. We reserved a non-smoking room, but it reeked of cigarettes and weed. I know they have smoking rooms, but this smell was so bad that the room was impossible to sleep in. There were burn holes in the couches, sheets, and blankets. When we asked for a different room, a woman moved us to one that she'd sprayed with a bottle. The sheets were stained there too, there was dust everywhere, and chips were hidden under the sheets. It didn't seem like anyone had tried to clean. As we left, the employees gave us dirty looks, as if it was our fault we were uncomfortable in a dirty room. We're at Hampton Inn now, and it's much better. Please be aware, this place is nasty and not suitable for sleeping.

I only gave it a 2 because the young woman was so helpful. I had reserved a handicapped room, but nobody said it was a smokers room. I thought they'd at least clean it. It was awful, and there was nothing in it that would help someone who is handicapped except one grab bar in the uncleaned shower. The young woman at the office said she'd help me move to another room, thank you for that, but I was stunned by how dirty the room was. Can't you take pride in wiping things down and putting clean bedding on? The blanket and sheets had cigarette burns, which made me think they weren't changed at all. The glass and mirrors were smeared with something I don't even want to know about. I only stayed because of the situation, and I'll never come back. Take some pride. I'm sure you wouldn't want to walk into a room like that.

I wouldn't give this hotel a star, and they should pay guests to stay there. The first room was disgusting, with a towel wrapped around a pipe on the ceiling, dead bugs in the tub, and filth everywhere. It looked like nobody had cleaned it since the 1800s. In the second room, there was poop all over the toilet, and the tub was so grimy that the water looked even browner than the tub.

At 4 am, my boyfriend and I desperately needed a cheap hotel nearby. They didn't have any availability when I called, but the woman on the phone was incredibly helpful. She spent more than 20 minutes trying to find us another option, then managed to call and book a reservation for me. I really appreciate whoever helped us.
