I haven’t stayed in a room here, so I can’t really speak to those. I just found the place so pretty, artistic, and creative. Everyone who worked there was very kind to me, and I felt like writing a review. I’d love to come back sometime for coffee or a drink.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff were helpful with anything else we needed. I was there for an event, and one elevator wasn’t working. The stairs didn’t reach the top floor, or at least I don’t think they did, which set us back a bit.

The atmosphere, design, and general feel of Eaton DC were amazing, and Lydia at the front desk made the stay stand out. She was professional, kind, and very accommodating, and got us checked in smoothly without any stress. You can tell she cares about guests. If you’re visiting DC, this should be your first choice. I’ll definitely come back.

The room looked nice and was clean, but the stay was rough in other ways. My wife and I were meant to check in at 3 PM, yet we didn’t get into the room until well over an hour later. The front desk kept saying it would be ready in 20 minutes, but it wasn’t. Once inside, the temperature somehow felt both too hot and too cold. The AC was so loud it woke us several times. Water pressure was so strong that we could barely turn on the shower or sink without splashing water everywhere. The walls between rooms were very thin too.

The staff were great, I have to say. But the hotel was really noisy. From a lower-floor room facing K street, it felt like I was outside even with the door closed, and hallway voices came through too. I wouldn’t stay here again.
