The room was pretty okay, though the tubs could use an update. It's still one of the nicer places to stay near the Echostage area. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and Gaudy, Nia, and Miriam kept things clean while handling the crowd. I mentioned that waffles would be a nice addition, and the very next day they had a waffle station. The staff even made our waffles to keep the area clean. So kind and responsive, absolutely incredible. The oatmeal stations were a lovely surprise, too.

The staff were great, and the rooms were clean and well kept to Marriott standards. But the weed smell throughout the hotel was overwhelming. We were on the second floor, and it filled the hallway and made its way into our room. A smoke-free environment should mean free of all smoking. Do better.

Jamie made check-in easy and pleasant, and handled all of our requests without any trouble. The room was clean, and the hotel seemed well cared for. Breakfast was provided, and the location is convenient to Route 50 and northeast Washington. Metro buses run nearby, though there aren't any major Metrorail stations close by.

The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Jamie was excellent at check-in, and Vic at the front desk and Susanna? in housekeeping also stood out. Thanks to those three and everyone else who helped make our stay so nice!

The location isn't amazing, as others have said, but I felt safe walking to and from Echostage even at 3am. For this level of hotel, the room was a good size and perfectly acceptable. Service and cleanliness were very good, and I appreciated the arrival gift.
