The location is quiet, especially when there isn’t a truck idling in the lot. There’s a paved trail behind the hotel that’s nice for a walk or run. Staff were friendly and courteous, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The mattresses were nice, though the pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was simple but decent.

We spent most of the day outside by the gazebo, where the roses are beautiful. New benches would be nice, though, and the grounds could use mowing, repairs to the stone wall, and removal of the broken picnic bench. The lobby inside is pleasant, and Rick was very friendly. We paid a $25 pet fee and didn’t see any bugs. Our first room had dirty sheets, so Rick moved us. Both rooms could use a little fixing up, but it wasn’t a big deal. We slept well in the second room, whose linens were clean and unstained. The water pressure was great, though it drained slowly. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, and pastries. We enjoyed our day in this little town and would stay here again.

The manager was so nice, and the room was clean and fresh. I slept well. Such a wonderful stay, I’ll come back. This is a great hotel!

The owner is in the U.S. military and was very respectful. Breakfast was waffles and cereal. Not a bad stay, and I’d come back.

I was yelled at for moving things around. I had my 18-month-old with me, and moved the couch so he wouldn’t keep opening and shutting the door. I also moved the refrigerator so he couldn’t get into it, then put both things back that morning. They said the couch wasn’t in the right spot, and the fridge stand was two inches farther from the wall than before. That wasn’t good enough either.
