We had no hot water on and off through our entire getaway weekend in the spa tub room. This was the second time we’d had problems with that kind of room. The point of the tub is to soak in hot water, not freezing cold water when it’s 35 degrees outside. Then I was treated terribly and told I should have left the first night. If someone had told me the issue would keep happening, I would have left. There was no responsibility, empathy, maturity, or communication. Don’t stay here if you want to avoid problems and wasting your money.

Michelle and Jervon kept the hot breakfast replenished and were very helpful whenever we needed something. The room was clean, and the bed and small couch were comfortable. The towels were thin and small, but reception would give us fresh ones any time. HomeTowne Studios was easy to find just off I-70, and we didn’t hear traffic from our room.

HomeTowne Studios & Suites in Washington, PA was a perfect stop on my drive from NJ to CA. It was right along my route and very well priced. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I was especially glad to have a full-size freezer for my ice packs and a fairly large fridge for my food. Breakfast was just right, and the decaf coffee was exactly what I wanted. The evening and morning desk attendants welcomed me warmly, gave me a great room location, and were so sweet when I left. I was sorry to check out in the morning.

I like that the sink, shower, and toilet are all together in one area. The Jacuzzi tub was just what I needed after a five-hour drive. It’s very quiet here. You can barely hear a dog barking unless you’re in the hallway, and the staff are always friendly and keep the place so clean. When I visit my daughter at school, this is where I stay.

The rooms and location are pretty nice, but the service is what really stood out. Javon was courteous, kind, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of employee every place needs. He treated my mother, who has dementia, so well. I’m very thankful he was working when I visited.
