The parking charge for me as a guest really bothered me, especially after I saw two drunk women arrive around 1 am with a man they didn’t know. He asked security if he needed to worry about parking, and the guard waved him through. The room looked clean at first, but there was hair and other stuff in the sink and shower. Sound carried everywhere: people were loud all night, doors slammed, and the walls felt paper thin. I even heard some drunken confessions from across the hall, which was kind of entertaining, but as a light sleeper I barely got any rest. Check-in information was a mess too. The website said 3 pm, while the hotel said 4. I won't stay here again.

The noise was awful both nights, with a big group of kids running around their room and the hall until 11 pm. I complained, but nothing changed. One time I called and was put on hold for five minutes, then called back and suddenly they weren’t busy. Getting checked in was a headache too. I waited about ten minutes before the manager found the employee, who was in the lobby looking at her phone. Then staff said they couldn’t find my reservation, even though I had the confirmation and a receipt showing payment. The manager blamed the third-party booking system, which we use company-wide and which has worked at every other hotel I’ve stayed at over the last three years. A systems manager eventually confirmed I did have a reservation and they’d been looking in the wrong place. I can’t tell if the staff were poorly trained or unwilling to do their jobs, but this was one of my bottom-five hotel stays. I’d tell people to choose somewhere else. The stay wasn’t worth the money or frustration.

I asked for a quiet room when I checked in, but staff said third-party companies assign rooms ahead of time and didn’t offer much help. Next door sounded like a party, and as others have said, people are loud here. I won’t come back. The Fairfield Inn next door is a better choice.

Room 416 had a great view out over the main road, including a gas station, with Fairfield inn to the right and an extra space storage building farther off. There was a McDonald's, Dunkin donuts, two Exxon gas stations on either side of the road, and a checkers restaurant across from one of them. The hotel was in a great location and, even though it was under construction and being renovated, it was very clean. Breakfast was on time. I had a great stay and would recommend it to everyone.

The online pictures and description gave a completely misleading impression. We only stayed because nearby hotels were full for the Marine Corps Marathon; otherwise we would have left right away. The room fridge had a dead cockroach inside and wasn’t working. I reported it, but the front desk didn’t respond for almost two hours. After they replaced it, our belongings had clearly been moved while we were out, and the new fridge froze everything solid overnight. We also found another cockroach in the bathroom. There was sheetrock dust and construction debris in the halls and elevator, and the whole property smelled strongly of marijuana. Outside, the neighborhood felt unsafe, with men loitering and a strong weed smell. We saw construction workers smoking marijuana in the lobby, trash and leftover breakfast food across the parking lot, and police activity outside. It also became clear that long-term or Section 8 residents were staying at the hotel. We skipped the “free Breakfast” because the area was nasty and the condiment containers were filthy. This was the most unsafe and unclean hotel experience I’ve had, and I can’t recommend the place.
