The second room was fine, though its bathroom walls and floor weren't in good shape. The first two rooms were unbelievable, and the service wasn't great. I booked a good deal for two nights through Hotwire, then got an accessible room I hadn't asked for. Its bathroom light didn't work, and the front desk woman said Hotwire had requested that room so she couldn't move me, but she'd send someone to fix the light. The thermostat didn't work either and the room was hot, so I went back and asked nicely for a different room. She offered another accessible room on a different floor. Before moving my things, I checked it and found a bathroom that looked disgusting, like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. I showed her photos, and then she gave me a non-accessible room on my floor within minutes. That made it seem like she'd lied earlier. They say they're remodeling, and the rooms badly need it. It felt clear that they punish you for using Hotwire. Not a great stay.

I left my vest in the closet with my house key, $40 worth of Pennsylvania lottery tickets, and $5 worth of scratch-offs. When I realized the vest was still in the room, I called Jim/James. He sounded sincere and assured me he wouldn't check the pockets, and would put the vest in a bag with my name on it. Staff told me the night before that they could check the cameras to see who brought it to the front desk and take it from there. But when I spoke with manager Taylor today, 5-6-26, after the tickets and scratch-offs had been removed from the vest, she showed no concern. She said it would be a he-say-she-say situation and there was nothing she could really do. She said she'd been there 12 years and couldn't prove anyone had taken the items. I was very disappointed by that answer and want to speak with upper management. Taylor needs more phone etiquette and supervisor training. I wasn't happy with her response, and she hung up after I said I'd speak with her supervisor. I'm very unhappy with this whole situation.

Everything in the room is worn down, there's hair everywhere, and nothing works. The hotel smells, parking is limited, and I can't sleep because I'm unsettled. If you're traveling with family, find a better hotel or just go home. I'm a proud Bonvoy member, but the brand has become diluted. This is terrible quality for a SpringHill suites.

The hotel looks okay cosmetically, but the details and amenities need work. There was mold in the bathroom, and the A/C was outdated. We chose it for the hot tub, pool, and highway access, but the hot tub was out of order and the pool was probably 33 degrees F, basically only useful for an Andrew Huberman cold plunge. The kids were sad. Someone else put it well: it feels like a $150 hotel on the outside and a $70 hotel inside. At a Marriott, you expect certain things. I think some of the revenue from more expensive Marriott properties should go toward renovating this one.

I booked this place to rest safely while sick, after needing to stay around Pittsburgh another day because I couldn't drive several hours to my destination. Instead, the night made me more exhausted and anxious, and my autistic son was overstimulated and exhausted too. The property looked amazing online, but in person was very different. At 1 a.m., after discovering the bathroom sink sprayed water all over the floor, I couldn't use it at all. The night clerk offered to move us, but my son was already asleep. The dirty bath towels, washcloths, floor towel with a black handprint, and tub with black smudges had already put me off taking a shower. Even the fresh towels the young woman brought were dingy and stained. My son noticed hard red spots all over his duvet and was scared they were blood, so I removed it right away. Earlier, the TV hadn't worked and it took about an hour for staff to figure out and fix the problem while I still had a child to get to sleep. I also had to hunt for an ice machine because all were broken except the one on the lobby level, and the ice there had foreign bodies frozen in it. I needed some for my sore throat and fever. In the early morning, loud chunks of ice dropping inside the fridge kept startling me awake as the freezer thawed and refroze. After that night, they denied my late checkout and banged on the door at 12:05, warning they'd charge another night if I didn't leave. I had emailed the manager around 8:30 a.m. to explain everything. A huge BC screening event came in that morning, but the front desk didn't know about it and the meeting room wasn't heated. They kept running me around when I asked about compensation; my booking agency said the hotel had to initiate the request and fill out paperwork. No one on site seemed authorized to do it or approve a late checkout, even though I'd seen another guest get one. First they said that guest was a direct member and I booked third party, then my booking company said that didn't matter. Five hours after emailing, I still hadn't heard from the manager. My incidental hold also hadn't been refunded, although I was told it should be returned after checkout, and it had apparently been mandatory even though the third-party website didn't list it. This was the worst hotel night I've had, especially while sick. It cost time, energy, and money, and was a terrible decision.
