Swann House Historic Dupont Circle Inn

Our families stayed at Swann House for our wedding weekend, and we held the welcome party in its beautiful space. The house is stunning, with each room having its own distinctive character, and our guests kept talking about it. Christine and her team made the stay relaxed, easy, and fun, taking care with every detail. The Fathom Group team did a wonderful job too. We're grateful for the warmth they brought to such an important weekend.

Room 9 had a huge, impressive bathtub and a luxurious shower, and the bed was very comfortable. The restored home has plenty of pleasant places to sit, a peaceful feel, and thoughtful touches throughout. It's in a great neighborhood, with good restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. Breakfast offered lots of choices, and the homemade apple sauce was a treat. The minorities are stocked with complimentary drinks. I really enjoyed staying here, and you can tell the owners care for the house.

Swann House has become my favorite place for my frequent overnight trips to DC. It feels like a boutique hotel, with a comfortable stay, lovely design, and luxury touches. The neighborhood is convenient and lovely, and the rooms each have their own look. Common areas are elegant but comfortable. Coffee and tea stations are on every floor, and the in-room fridge has complimentary drinks. Wine or cocktails can be ordered too. I couldn't use the pool or terrace in January, but both are there. Christine and her assistant are wonderful, and breakfast was included and just right.

This is a lovely old house turned B&B, in a central and very safe part of town. Check-in was easy, the staff were great, and my room was clean and comfortable with good shower pressure. I had to leave early for a meeting before breakfast, so a staff member put together some fruit and dairy-free yogurt for me to keep in the room. I'd happily stay again.
