The bathroom stood out, with wide counters, a magnifying mirror, and good water pressure. This was a clean boutique hotel in a convenient spot near Congress, with reasonable parking rates and excellent customer service. I’d highly recommend it.

The staff were the best part of our work retreat. The people handling food in the conference rooms and the housekeeping team were outstanding and very helpful. We also enjoyed the Cider in the lobby and thought the restaurant food was great. The conference rooms were spacious and nice, and our guest rooms were pleasant and mostly roomy, though the bathroom was an exception. I’d recommend the hotel for work events or personal trips.

The location was great, and my room was clean, with a comfortable bed. It was cleaned and the bed made each day while I was out. I stayed four nights to visit my son, and even though I’d been unsure about the price while planning, I felt welcomed as soon as I walked into The Darcy. Kayla and the rest of the staff made me feel at ease. I appreciated that there was no nickel and diming, including free water, and that checkout was at noon, which was fantastic. I’ll keep staying here and recommending it when I’m in the Washington DC area.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place, and the location is great. The staff seemed incredibly short-handed while we were there: there was no doorman, the valet wasn’t at the podium, and the front desk was unattended. They did their best, but the poor snow clearing after the recent storm was upsetting, with barely enough of a path to drive to the building. Parking was $65, and it was hard to justify a tip when it took 20 minutes to bring our car to the street in front of the building. We had to run into the street because he couldn’t drive into the loading area.
