The lakefront yard is beautiful, tidy, and such a peaceful place to sit. Inside, everything was very clean, and breakfast was homemade and seriously delicious. We love good food and could go on about it. Staying here felt like being at your grandmother’s house in Wisconsin. It’s a lovely pick for the first or last night of a trip through Anchorage. Just go!

Carol sent us off with an amazing breakfast, and she was a lovely host. The garden and lake behind the house are so charming, and everything is arranged nicely. We had a wonderful stay. A great place if you're near lake Lucille/ hatchers pass.

Sitting on the dock, watching the lake and listening to the birds, was so relaxing. The property is beautiful, and Carol, the owner, is such a nice person. I wish we lived closer so this could be a local getaway for us. My husband and I spent two nights here in June in the upstairs suite, which had its own bathroom and a really lovely view. The space felt like home, and breakfast and coffee each morning were fabulous, with so much variety and care in every bite. It was a fabulous stay.

The breakfast the owner cooked was the best part, so delicious. They were very friendly, and both the room and the surroundings were lovely. I'd stay here again if I get the chance.

Breakfast was a highlight, with tasty hot dishes and fresh pastries each morning. The lakefront grounds are gorgeous, with cared-for gardens and cozy places to sit and relax. Carol has made the whole place feel so welcoming and memorable. We loved our visit and would come back in a heartbeat.
