This time the dog area was covered in poop, and it was hard to find a spot where my dog could go without stepping in someone else's mess. That's on the pet owners, not the hotel, but it was really bad. On my October 2025 visit for a dog show, the area was clean, there were poop bags and a garbage can, and people picked up after their pets. The hotel is nice, clean, and allows pets. My other disappointment this trip was housekeeping. In October they cleaned my room every day, replaced towels, and freshened the bed. This time they asked if I wanted the room cleaned, even though I was out much of the day. They did offer fresh towels, which was nice, I guess. The location works well for the dog shows I attend, so I might stay again, but I'll check other hotels nearby first to see if there's something of equal value.

We stayed for a week with our two big dogs. The location was quiet and nice, the room was clean, and the staff were really friendly. The beds were soft and comfortable. Cozy place, great experience.

The room was clean, they provided complimentary items, and the service was pleasant. The bathroom setup was my main complaint. The sink and mirror were outside the bathroom, which made getting ready awkward with a roommate. Both the faucet and shower had very weak pressure. The bathroom felt dim with just one harsh white light, and there was no fan to clear the air. We also kept smelling cigarette smoke from a room next door. Breakfast ran only from 6 to 9 a.m., which was short and very early. For what we paid, I probably wouldn't stay again.

Customer service was exceptional, and the room looked clean at first. But I noticed questionable stains on the bedspread, and the shower showed wear and tear, with signs of repair that didn't look well done. It did seem recently repaired, and the water pressure was decent. For the price, it was just good enough for a short stay if you're trying to save money, but not good enough to make it my first choice. On a scale of ten, I'd give it a 6.8 or 6.9.

My partner was bitten by bed bugs while we stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbia / Fort Meade. That's a serious health and hygiene issue, and completely unacceptable in a hotel. We were very disappointed and concerned about the cleanliness. Management needs to take it seriously and thoroughly inspect and treat the rooms. I wouldn't recommend staying here until the problem is properly resolved.
