The marina is easy to get to, and the fire pit is great. I’ve been staying here for five years and always enjoy it. The rooms are clean, and the owner has done some really good things with the place.

We had a peaceful long weekend, and being able to bring our pups was a big bonus. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, the AC worked great, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. We also had a lot of fun renting a pontoon for the full day. Thank you!

The room was small but cozy, and we had a campfire the first night and again the next morning. My mom and I have been coming to the Captains Cove for years to kayak, but this was our first overnight stay. We’re already planning to book three days in October. We only rented kayaks, but Captains Cove looks like a place we’d enjoy staying. The woman who rented them to us was so nice. We paddled inland for a while and found it relaxing, with pretty plants and swans, turtles, dragonflies, and fish. It seems like a great home base for going out on the lake, or you can just rent a boat for a fun few hours.

Everything was perfect apart from the mattress on the single bed. It’s too hard! Thanks for a great stay, we’ll definitely be back.
