The host was very kind and gave me a lovely little book about the history of Waters to read during my stay. I was in the bear room for one night before a race at Forbush Corners. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with everything I needed, including a fridge and microwave. The office also has snacks and other necessities. It’s conveniently close to the ski facility, across from a restaurant and Dollar General. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

We like making this clean little motel one of our overnight stops on the way north to the UP. It’s easy to find, and Manager Bob is very nice and made check-in simple.

We found this place through reviews on a spontaneous snowmobiling trip, and it was just as advertised. Bob was great. He said they don’t get many young kids, but they’re more than welcome. We had a pleasant stay, and I don’t know how anyone could give it less than five stars.

Our room was ready, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for our little weekend getaway. We come to Gaylord to go snowmobiling and had a blast. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
