Town Square Condos

We've stayed in Town Square for eight years, and it's a convenient base for doing things around the area. The Nordic ski trails are right outside, while the downhill area is a quick drive or shuttle ride away. There are plenty of good places to eat, clothes shopping, and a convenience store. The condo units are okay, though a bit beat up and in need of some work. Kitchens are small, with limited counter space for food prep. All in all, it's a good deal for the cost.

We really appreciated having three bedrooms and two bathrooms to spread out in with all our winter clothes and boots on a short family ski trip. The Town Square Condos were clean, functional, and handy for shops, food, cross-country skiing, and the ice rink. The kitchen was functional and new enough, and the living room felt cozy, though the TV didn't work. The bathrooms are a bit old but clean. My main complaint is the mattress in the main bedroom. It was definitely broken, likely decades old, and badly in need of replacement. The dents in the pictured bed aren't from someone sleeping on it, that's how it normally looks.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were nice, but the TVs were tiny. The pool closed early at 7:30 on a holiday weekend, and there was no sound deadening in the walls. Water pressure and temperature were terrible. The park work seems to be done by union workers, and it's been going on for over a year without even reaching 50% completion.

The view of the pond and mountains is lovely, and the staff are very helpful. Our children's hospital department plans a retreat here once every two years, and everybody loves this place.
