Airport Lodge

I finally got a comfortable night's sleep here after spending much of the past year in motels and hotels. The place was clean, and the staff were wonderful, always willing to help however they could. I'd definitely return.

The walls are paper thin, so a neighbor's dog can keep you awake, and the owner and manager do nothing when you complain. If you work third shift, forget about sleeping: staff have keys to the rooms and may knock at any hour. After a few weeks, they stop providing towels, and requests for help get brushed off with excuses. I had a laptop and several other things stolen after my room was broken into. I believe staff go through rooms when guests are out, looking for pills, weed, or anything else they can take. The staff steal, in my experience, and the owner only cares about money. There are bed bugs. The entire staff is always drunk, according to what I saw, and I believe 80 percent of the people staying at the Airport Lodge are pedophiles and former convicts. Several hard-core drug dealers live there, and most residents have guns that they wave around whenever they want. Cars are broken into almost daily, and police are there several times a day. This is the worst place in Wisconsin to live or take a vacation. You do not want to stay here.

Nothing fancy, just budget rooms that were clean. The county airport is right across the road, with the hotel lined up with one of its runways, but it was quiet at night.

I've lived here for two years. The people and staff are great, and the bar next door has awesome food.
