Inn at the River

We had a comfortable stay thanks to Margaret and Dan. Norman and Theo were very sweet. 🐾 The Inn sits by the river, with plenty of wildlife and a peaceful, quiet feel. We’d come back if we’re in the area again.

I work as a booking agent and concert photographer, so I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and inns. This one is easily my favorite so far. The view and the place are beautiful, and the food was great. The couple serving it were incredibly sweet. I recommend it 1000%!

The breakfasts Dan and Margaret make were the highlight for us. Our room was even better than we expected, and the Inn itself is beautiful, right beside the river. We spent time kayaking and enjoying the sights inside and out. Dan and Margaret are wonderful hosts, and this is the best B&B we’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely return. If you’re after a relaxing, special stay, this is the place.

We’ve stayed twice now and plan to come back whenever we’re in Wisconsin. The rooms and sitting areas are spacious, and being immersed in nature beside the river feels idyllic. There’s an outdoor patio and a lovely fire pit. Dan and Margaret make a unique, delicious breakfast, and they’ve thought of everything. Such a gem!
