We chose this place because it was close to Froedtert, and I’ll give it an extra star for the location. The rooms look modern but are pretty beat up. The shower had just one setting, scalding hot, so we couldn’t shower before leaving for the hospital. After I got back, I asked the manager to move us. He agreed, but had a major attitude and said it was my problem that we hadn’t left enough time to switch rooms. We’re older and don’t move around quickly. We got up for a 6 a.m. appointment expecting the hotel shower to work, which doesn’t seem unreasonable. I’ve never had this kind of problem at another hotel nearby, and I won’t be back.

The suite we rented had bugs, and neither the bed nor the shower looked anything like the website photos. It was so bad I left and booked another hotel 25 minutes away. I followed up the next day asking for my $500 back, but the front desk line had been too long for me to wait without missing a business meeting. They refused the refund, saying there was no manager there that weekend to contact and no clear proof I hadn’t stayed in the room I reserved. I had given them pay stubs, a dinner receipt, and a receipt for the hotel I booked that afternoon because this building was so deplorable. The manager was rude and wouldn’t help. This is a business-related review, though I wish it were personal. I’d give zero stars if I could. As a public service, don’t stay here. You may regret it and could be out your money even after promptly following up and showing real evidence you got another hotel. They need to make the changes required to provide the accommodations they advertise.

They charge more than $500 for four nights plus a $100 deposit, yet wouldn’t accept a debit card for the deposit even though they accepted one for payment. The sheets and curtains were dirty, and I had to schedule room cleaning by 9 a.m. There’s no bar or restaurant and barely any shuttle service. During Brewers series week, people expected a hot complimentary breakfast, but the breakfast was just cereal bowls, half a cup of juice, coffee, and tea. Even La Quinta and Holiday Inn have hot breakfast, a shuttle, and better rooms. There are no microwaves or refrigerators unless you pay $30 extra for a suite. This hotel doesn’t seem to make guests a priority.

Our whole volleyball team was staying here for a tournament, and it was a really unfortunate choice for the weekend. We arrived to find a sign at the desk saying the pool was unavailable for maintenance. The furniture is old and worn, including torn curtains and a beat-up desk chair. The newer-looking Keurig doesn’t work, and there’s mold or mildew throughout the bathroom. Nothing seemed well cared for or properly cleaned. The front desk also showed little interest in offering useful help. The place is worn out and dirty.
