I stayed in room 209 and would come back if I’m in the area. The night auditor on Thursday, Mar 19, around 10 pm was lovely and knew the area well. I’d never been to Louisiana before, and she was the first person I met in the state. The room was very clean, nothing obvious was wrong, and the maintenance was generally kept up. I used to be a Chief Engineer at several Marriott and Hilton hotels, so I noticed some repairs that made me think management doesn’t have much maintenance budget. The front door seal had a significant gap to the outside, for example. With a better budget to fix things properly, this could be a stellar place. I was also surprised to find no carpet in a lower budget hotel, but it makes sense for durability. The Amana in the room was a nice touch too; I’d expected at most a Distinctions branded PTAC. Even with those observations, I rate my stay five stars. It was my first time at a red roof as well.

I felt safe and happy here, and had no issues during my stay. The desk lady was sweet and kind, food was easy to get to, and the location was great. Bed bugs are my biggest fear, so I checked the whole room and didn’t see any. The water got warm or hot right away. Very awesomesauce!

I really appreciated everyone’s kindness and respect, and that’ll definitely bring me back. It was my first time staying a week for work, but the super clean, cozy place and the best staff ever made it feel like a second home.

Elaine at the desk is wonderful and makes you feel right at home. I stay at RR regularly, and this one is a RR+. It’s the best motel in the area for me, close to my work and with the best prices. They honor the veterans discount, and there’s a nice dining room and other amenities. See you 5 Jan.

The room was larger than I expected, and the bed was so comfortable. I’d recently fractured my back and worried it might be hard to sleep, but the soft bed was a blessing. The night clerk was so sweet, and I was grateful for the affordable price since this unplanned stay wasn’t in my usual budget. We’d definitely stay again.
