Emma, the young receptionist at the front desk, had a real attitude. I don't think she should be the person greeting guests at check-in. We weren't properly welcomed, our diamond status wasn't acknowledged, and we weren't offered water.

The room had lots of space and the bed was comfortable, though the place could use an update. Staff were very friendly.

My son had fun using the basketball hoop, and the pool area is beautiful. The gym has plenty of workout equipment, breakfast offers a very good selection, and the hotel itself is very nice. Rhonda at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The water pressure in our room was really poor, and that's the one complaint. Otherwise, this was easily our best hotel experience in Houma. The breakfast was among the best we've had in all our travels, with tasty food and lots of healthy choices. The room was large and clean, with useful amenities, plenty of outlets, and a good supply of tea and coffee in the kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the open lobby and sitting areas indoors and outside felt inviting. Stay here, don't stay there.

We did have a couple of small problems, including a leaking AC and toilet trouble in the second room. Staff were quick to think things through and find answers, taking about five minutes to sort each issue. They were polite, kind, and knowledgeable. The rooms were spotless, and there were plenty of gathering areas.
