Quality Inn Waverly

I hadn’t been back to Waverly in nearly eight years, so I was really pleased to find my room so nice and clean. The staff who look after the rooms clearly care, which matters a lot in a hotel that could otherwise show its age. Thanks to the team. I’ll be back in a heartbeat.

For the last 11 years, our team has stayed at the Quality Inn when we travel to Wartburg for a meet. Sangita and her staff always take good care of us and make the stay enjoyable. It never disappoints, and when we’re in Waverly, Iowa, we won’t pick another hotel.

The hotel was clean, but the gym and sauna hours are a problem for us. When we travel, we expect to use the gym early, with access by at least 6:00 AM being standard. Opening it at 8:00 AM makes it almost impossible to work out before a workday or a long drive, especially when you’re in a small room. This has a big effect on where we choose to stay. We’d gladly come back if the hours changed.

I’ve been coming here for years and plan to keep doing so. The price is very reasonable, the rooms are clean, and the pool and hot tubs are kept really clean too. Service was amazing. David made sure we had everything we needed and greeted us by name whenever we passed. Susan was super friendly and helpful at checkout. I especially recommend it for families. Walmart is right in front, about a 2-3 minute walk; Taco Bell and Kwik Star are across the street, with Kwik Star part of the same affiliate as Kwik Trip. Applebees is literally in Walmart’s parking lot, about a minute’s walk, if you want a cocktail or a hot app.
