Evenings on the porch, with wind moving through the tall pines, and cool mornings with wood smoke in the air made this feel special. We had warm family gatherings inside, saw mule deer at twilight, and watched cheerful squirrels start the day. Trails, stables, golf, and riverside picnics along the south fork of the Merced are nearby. Larkspur Lair cabin is the nicest accommodations in the park, far from the tourists but still close enough to the major sights. Our family will surely return.

Spacious, clean, and lovingly furnished, this felt like a dream vacation home right in the heart of Yosemite National Park. It’s ideal for families with 2 to 4 children.
