Hampton Inn Waynesboro

I was there with my daughters and grandchildren for a little family reunion. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and I especially liked the pantry area under the TV. The staff were accommodating, took their work seriously, and went about their jobs with smiles. If we need a hotel in Waynesboro again, we'll return to The Hampton Inn. Thanks for making it a weekend to remember, and for arranging the snow so we could celebrate a late Christmas with a white one. That's what I call above and beyond service.

A blizzard hit my city, so I tried to cancel the whole trip. The travel agency I booked through asked booking.com to cancel the reservation, but Hilton didn't respond to booking.com. I then called Hilton and was told the reservation had been canceled and the cancellation fee waived. The next day, I was charged $715. They said there was nothing they could do, even though a Hilton representative had told me the fee was waived. The booking was for a Hilton listed on booking.com. This was a terrible experience all around. Thank you, Hilton.

All the employees were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. When I asked for a late checkout, they agreed right away. Dot, the housekeeping supervisor, said that if her staff had already finished for the day, she'd take care of my room herself. It was refreshing to see that kind of service, which isn't always there at other Hilton properties these days. We stay at a lot of Hilton hotels each year, and this one ranks near the top for cleanliness. Everywhere was spotless, from the lobby to the room, and it seemed like someone was cleaning every time I walked through.

The town was charming and quiet, and this hotel was much nicer than anything I've experienced in Augusta. It was very clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the pool was lovely and well maintained. I'd definitely stay here again. A great stay!
