The house is large, with plenty of room, a lovely view, and a great location. One caution: Google Maps and Waze took us to a gated, closed road, so be careful if arriving at night. The water was muddy when we first arrived, with almost no pressure. The company changed a very dirty filter within an hour, which helped a little, but showers or running the washing machine left the rest of the house without water, even to flush toilets. The water also kept turning brown or tan at times for the remainder of our stay. We found the hot tub cloudy and very sudsy on the fourth night, after it had seemed fine earlier. We used it anyway, thinking it was the chemicals. In daylight the next day, there was a disgusting brown, rusty film everywhere and the filter was filthy. It no longer seemed safe to use, and one guest who had used it that night woke with a rash. Customer service argued with us and showed little empathy. They said they usually don't clean it while guests are there and would see what they could do, but never followed up or sent anyone to fix it. The loft has no AC or windows that open, and using the fireplace makes it like a furnace up there. We also found the bathtub unclean on arrival, the second kitchen not stocked, no beach towels for the hot tub, no hair dryer for any of the three bathrooms, and dusty fans that didn't work. There were no board games, and the only knives were steak knives, with nothing to chop or peel food. The twin loft bed's mattress protector and pillow had urine stains, and a queen bed's unwashed sheet had white crusted material stuck to it. These problems sounded a lot like the complaint on the VRBO reviews page dated Aug 6, 2021, which made me think nothing had been done about those earlier issues. I hope this review helps.

We saw a mama bear and her two cubs on the front lawn a few times. The rental was great for a big family or several families together. We loved it.

So much nature around, and the view was great. Amazing place, we'd go back.
