Angels Nest Bed and Breakfast

We loved coming back to Angel's Nest for a second visit. Room 10 was a treat, with a soft king bed, big TV, and a wide view over the city that reaches almost to Ft. Worth. Go up another flight of stairs and there’s an oversized jacuzzi tub with that same view. A soak after sundown is hard to beat. The owners were downstairs, though we didn’t need anything, and breakfast was delicious. Check-in was easy with clear self-service instructions, and checkout was just walking out. The old wooden stairs and the house’s history are part of the charm. It’s not sleek or especially luxurious, but it’s comfortable, private, and just right for a couple days away from society. We love it.

This was our second stay, and we came for our anniversary in room #3. It has a hot tub and a secluded area, which made for a really relaxing visit. I’d mentioned the anniversary when I booked, and found balloons and a rose on the pillow, a lovely touch I appreciated. Breakfast was so good that my husband and I both finished every bite. I’m sure we’ll return.

I loved how private the porch and hot tub area felt. Breakfast came with different options, and I got to choose when it was brought to my door. The room was cold and dark in the morning, with a comfy bed, good pillows, and a heavy blanket. I slept like a rock, better than I have in a long time. Angels Nest gets a 10 from me!

I can only speak for room 9, where the bathroom’s barn door had little privacy, especially with a pane missing. After using the jetted tub, there was no separate shower, so I couldn’t wash my hair. Service was fine, but I moved to a standard hotel with an elevator, shower, microwave, and more bathroom counter space. Maybe I expected too much.
