Holiday Inn Express and Suites Weatherford by IHG

Having a room ready at 1:30 AM was a huge help after a long day, and check-in was easy and welcoming. Randell was especially helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was fresh and well prepared. Our holiday stay was wonderful from beginning to end, and we'd happily come back.

The thermostat would go no lower than 68, and the coldest room I ever got there was 69. That's uncomfortable for me after working outdoors all day, when I want a cold room to sleep in. I looked up the thermostat models, and the settings can be changed to let them go down to 60. I'll gladly pay more for comfort instead of having the owner save on electricity at my expense. A better rate isn't worth leaving guests unhappy. Take care of them and they'll return; skimping on comfort leads to one-star reviews and no repeat business. Do better. Owners like this give Holiday Inn a bad name. Please look at my reviews of other Holiday Inns and do better. I travel for work and stay at a lot of Holiday Inns, so I can tell when they're managed well. I believe this one is run by a tightwad. When I complained about the AC, I was told corporate required the limit. The following week, I stayed at a much better Holiday Inn in Enid and asked them about it. They said that wasn't true, since the hotels are franchised and the owner makes those decisions. This was my last stay here.

Breakfast was fabulous, with a selection that made up for the TV's poor options. The room was clean and the shower was good. We were only there to sleep, but it smelled sour, and we couldn't cool it below 74 degrees.

For a new hotel, it was a nice place with clean rooms, tiled showers that are level with the floor, and a big, colorful TV. Breakfast was good, especially the cinnamon rolls, and the desk clerk was nice. The computer found my Rewards membership. There's a new chicken fast food restaurant nearby too. Good price.
