Holiday Inn Express Suites Rochester Webster

We were happy with our stay at Holiday Inn Express Rochester Webster and would come back. It’s about 20 minutes from downtown Rochester, and nearby restaurants are a short drive away since there’s no restaurant in the hotel. The renovated property was in decent shape, with a quiet room, comfy beds and a kitchenette that suited our multi-day visit. Breakfast until 9:30 on weekdays had a good standard selection: warm cinnamon rolls, bacon or sausage and eggs, yogurt and fruit. The machine made freshly ground medium roast and decaf coffee, a nice touch. There’s an indoor pool with a hot whirlpool, plus a fitness room overlooking it with a full rack of weights for light workouts. Both were lightly used. Towels and a sanitation station were provided, and there are charging stations on site.

I travel for work and stay at Holiday Inns regularly, and they’ve never let me down. They make me feel like my business matters. Recently I needed two adjoining rooms at the Webster location, and the gentleman I spoke with arranged it. Joel was an absolute rockstar!

The rooms and hotel look modern and updated, but finding bedbugs was a deal breaker. It was very late, so I accepted another room, which they did provide. Otherwise I would’ve switched hotels. The evening check-in staff didn’t seem very apologetic, and nobody followed up.

The pool was clean and fun, breakfast was amazing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. 10/10, I’ll definitely stay here again.
