Platinum Inn & Suites Webster

The owners were unusually involved in the hotel's daily activities, and they were among the friendliest people you'll meet. The staff were amazing too. The rooms are clean and spacious, the location is convenient for pretty much everything, and the price is great for what you get. Restaurants are within walking distance, and the mall, HEB grocery store, Urgent Care, Sam's Club, Costco, department stores and other things you need are about five minutes away. I've stayed in hotels around the world, including some five-star places, and I wish they were all like this one. Great value for the money.

The place is basically a La Quinta with a coat of paint. It wasn't the worst, but it wasn't remotely nice either, and the price reflects that. Check-in was unpleasant. My brother and I arrived after 1 a.m. with nobody at the desk and no bell. I joked about what we were supposed to do without a bell, and the front desk agent came out from the back and snapped, “Then you wait!” He stayed rude through the rest of check-in.

My family and I recommend Platinum Inn & Suites in Webster, Texas. The staff made us feel welcome and looked after from the moment we arrived, and everyone was friendly and accommodating throughout the stay. Ms. Nichole and Mr. Christian deserve a special mention for going above and beyond with their hospitality. It made the experience exceptional. If your family wants a comfortable, clean and genuinely welcoming place in the Webster area, Platinum Inn & Suites is a great choice.

The door was the biggest safety concern: it wouldn't lock when I left, and it didn't close all the way while I was inside. I told staff, but they didn't move me to another room. They said they'd go up and try closing it themselves, which was so weird. My room was filthy too, with something all over the bathroom door, poop on the toilet, dirty towels and sheets, and a gross shower. The TV didn't work, and a large family in several rooms kept slamming their bodies into my door until 10 p.m. I was there while my dad was in the hospital and just wanted a clean, safe place. It was a truly upsetting experience. Expedia and I tried to get a refund for the remaining four nights, but were denied. I'll never stay there again, and I'll shout from the rooftops about how awful it was. Go to Candlewood Suites instead. It cost the same and had clean rooms, a full kitchen and great staff.
