Red Roof Inn & Suites Duncan

That room was huge, but the only reason this place gets two stars is that we didn't have to sleep in the parking lot. It sleeps six and came with just three towels. After the first three of us showered, we had to take the dirty towels to the office to get three clean ones for everyone else. The shower had hair in it and was so slippery it was hard to stand. The handicap rail was so loose you were better off falling on the floor. It looked as if the room was cleaned only once every third occupant, and the exterior was rundown. Even for a Red Roof Inn, this was bad. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

I got a nonsmoking room because I can't stand cigarette smoke. When I went to get my deposit back the next day, they threatened to keep it because the manager said she'd found ashes on the counter. They have smoking rooms, and at 52 years old I have enough sense to ask for one if I smoked. I called the manager the next day to say I didn't appreciate being accused. These people try to run game, and I won't be back.

There were dead bugs on the floor, and walking on it left my feet black. I've never had a hotel floor do that before. The tub was disgusting too, with septic flies coming up the drains. They kept my deposit because the sheet was dirty, but that dirt looked like it would come out in the wash. The booking site said cribs were available on request, but the hotel doesn't even have cribs. They need to clean the floors before guests arrive. Keep my money, that's fine. This place is disgusting, and I'd come down hard on the cleaning crew.

We stay at this hotel in Duncan often. It's super clean and comfortable, and the staff are so nice. The area is wonderful, with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, CVS, and Walgreens nearby.
