I checked out early after just one night and won't stay here again. The room was run down and dirty, with bare dirty floors, stained towels, a filthy bathroom floor and tub, and cigarette burn holes in the comforter, sheets, and pillow covers. The pillows and sheets were stained too. It was supposed to be non-smoking, but smelled of cigarettes. I kept my shoes on because I didn't want to walk barefoot. The pictures I saw when searching for a hotel didn't match the place at all. They should remove them. If the hotel was remodeled, it was a step backwards. I was also surprised to learn that half the property is used to house homeless people. When I asked security about the limited parking, since cones blocked off a large part of the lot, they explained that it was for the homeless tenants to park in. It's good that the hotel provides shelter, but I hadn't expected that. I needed an affordable place for the night that didn't look run down and ghetto in the advertised photos. The nicer hotels were charging far above their usual rates, so I chose this one. It was loud all night. People drove in and out with music blasting so hard that the bass rattled the window, and they kept honking their horns. It wasn't car alarms. Security did nothing. I warn everyone against staying here.

Our belongings were stolen right in the lobby. When we asked to check the cameras, staff didn't want to look at all, and they refused us a refund, even though we called the cops and had camera proof that hotel guests were stealing from other guests. There were hookers with pimps in rooms and people going in and out, homeless people all around, and cars with their windows blown in. The lobby staff were the rudest. A South Central experience, I guess. Don't stay here just to save a couple extra bucks.

I killed a roach as soon as I walked into the first room for our birthday weekend in CA. Checking further, I opened the dresser and found roaches everywhere, so I asked for a different room. In my opinion it was much nicer, and the staff were friendly, apologized, and moved us without a problem. That room seemed fine until I opened the fridge at night and roaches came out of the microwave. The next day we bought bug spray and sprayed the whole room several times. The area wasn't great, but it was okay and we didn't have any other problems. We did miss the turn into the parking lot because abandoned cars by the entrance were in the way. Hope this helps.

The room wasn't terrible, but the bed wasn't good quality, and although I booked for two adults and a child, we got just one bed. When I asked for a room with enough beds for us, they said that was the biggest room. The neighborhood isn't the best, though it's close to the airport. It felt more like a cheap, sex-oriented motel than somewhere to stay.

The family managing the motel are generally pretty nice and not overbearing, but they're extremely cheap and try to nickel-and-dime people. They can be very temperamental, don't tolerate criticism or disagreement with what seem to me like totally delusional claims, and will invent reasons you owe more money. They don't like it when guests pay the online rate. They do enforce strict rules about guest behavior, though. Once, when I went to use the vending machine, the manager noticed credit left from a previous guest's money and ran out of the office to eject it and make sure I could use it myself. It was extremely bizarre. The homeless housing organization takes over the whole place during the day. Its security guards are around 24/7, often sitting outside guests' rooms or having loud conversations. It disrupts things, and having someone posted outside your door feels like an invasion of privacy. The motel is in bad shape, and the rooms are generally deplorable. I've been in or stayed in almost all of them except most of the ones way in back, which aren't used much. Some rooms occupied by long-term guests are totally destroyed, with broken furniture, piles of trash, graffiti, and shopping carts. The jacuzzi room is whack and really awkward, with no romantic vibe, though who knows. A few rooms have mirrors and are in better condition, but they're still usually unsanitary. Roaches are in every room. I've also seen one bed bug. Lots of service dogs stay there, so your own animal might get fleas. They do a pretty good job changing the bedding, but not perfectly. The sheets are poor quality, aren't fitted, and aren't large enough to stay on the mattress, so they usually come off. The motel isn't even the cheapest in the area, yet it has more illicit activity than a typical cheap motel around here, and most residents are displaced people housed there with public funds.
