The area is nice, but with Cathryn managing the property, be aware. I’ve stayed here for several weeks and had more problems than I’ve ever had anywhere. She comes across as friendly, but I found her dishonest. There were balance discrepancies and incorrect charges that she had to refund because they weren’t accurate. Other staff confirmed she went into my account herself and changed my room rate. I complained to the Corporate office about the errors and her rudeness. When I called back 72 hrs later to ask about it, I was told Cathryn had accessed my account and closed the complaint “ticket.” She seems to do or say whatever she wants.

Do not spend your money here. There was a dead cockroach in the hallway, and after I reported seeing one in our room, the overnight staff said the manager told them I should request a refund through Expedia. She later denied the request, leaving me to deal with unnecessary runaround. I was told she “doesn’t give refunds” and that Expedia “knows that,” which would have been useful to know when I first reported the roach. The property should have told guests about the infestation. When I called Monday morning, Katherine was extremely rude and unhelpful. She wouldn’t give me a corporate contact or her supervisor’s information, and even claimed I “brought the roach” with me.

At check-in, they gave me a copy of “TheRules,” and I felt like a child. The signs throughout the building say customers are responsible for the garbage. I was surprised the place was even open, and I’d never heard of a front desk closing at 6. That was my last stay there.

The front desk staff were amazing, all so kind and courteous. I have zero complaints about them, and they were the best I’ve ever seen. Our room was adequate, but we didn’t realize we’d need to bring nearly everything ourselves. Towels and sheets were provided, but there wasn’t a toaster, coffee maker, pans, or even a plate. The advertised table and chairs weren’t there, either. The TV kept switching off or returning to the main menu, and our key card stopped working several times. No, we didn’t keep it next to a credit card.
