Oz made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and the whole place has such a comfortable, charming feel. Breakfast was a lovely start to the day: fresh scrambled eggs, great coffee with organic milk, and a waffle my son was especially happy with. It was our first visit to the Deerfield Inn, but we're already looking forward to another. We had an amazing weekend and would definitely recommend it.

Our dog enjoyed the stay as much as we did. The room had a lovely fireplace, and the inn is conveniently close to the slopes and some really good food. Oz is a wonderful host, and the place has plenty of charm. We'd stay again, 10/10.

The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and we had a cozy loveseat and chair by the woodburning fireplace in our room. It's a rare feature to find these days. Oz, whose name is spelled Oguz, welcomed us so generously and was gracious and helpful throughout. He has bachelor's and master's degrees in hospitality, and that experience shows. He also cooked a tasty, nicely presented breakfast. The Deerfield Valley Inn is in West Dover, Vermont, near excellent restaurants and only minutes from Wilmington's shops and restaurants. It was quite affordable, especially given its well-earned stellar reviews. If you're an artist looking for a beautiful Vermont country inn to paint, this would be a great choice. We were glad to spend an evening here.

Oz greeted us so warmly, and he took to our cat Evan right away. We felt comfortable from the start. The place is awesome, and Oz makes a terrific breakfast too. What a great stay!
