The rooms are clean, and the living room is a great spot to relax with a drink and meet other guests. Prime Rib night is worth catching, served buffet-style with plenty for everyone. We mainly visit Mt. Snow to ski, but also go snowmobiling. Joe kindly lets us leave our sleds and trailer on his property while we're out. After a day on the slopes, we have dinner and then head out on the VAST trail system, which the Matterhorn is on. Joe can help with your VAST membership and trail guide and offer advice for newcomers. All in all, a terrific experience.

The innkeepers were pleasant, and breakfast in the morning was nice. There is a fire pit, a pool, and some rooms have porches. The bathroom cleanliness was questionable, with dried hair in the shower and a plush bathmat. Otherwise, it's on par with other places in the area. I stayed at the motel for the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge. As is common around here, the property is older and hasn't been modernized much. If you want a new mattress and typical hotel room amenities, this probably isn't the place for you.

I went away for the weekend hoping not to be needed, and had the best time ever at this Inn. Mostly, I wanted to relax, and I got to walk along the stream with my dogs, watch birds, soak in the jacuzzi under the stars, and enjoy a bonfire after a big meal. The food was outstanding, thanks to chefs Richard and Joe, and the music was amazing, from saxophone to polka. I haven't laughed or danced that much in a long time. Thanks so much for a great weekend. Big Daddy and Shakespear say thanks too. See you soon.

The owners are really kind and flexible, and for this area it's a good place to stay. I've stayed at other places that were nowhere near as nice, so I’d come back. Three stars because it isn’t amazing.

JOE AND WANDA ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE. THEY'LL DO WHATEVER THEY CAN TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME. I LOVE THE MATTERHORN, AND I'D RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS.
