The pool and hot tub were the biggest problem. On Saturday night the pool was cloudy, and the hot tub was hot but extremely foamy. My eyes started burning from the chemicals, or possibly from chemicals that had been used too much, within a minute of getting in. I've maintained hot tubs before and it clearly needed rebalancing. Then I spotted black stuff floating all over, so I got out. Some of it had even gotten onto my swimsuit when I returned to the room to change, and I took a long shower right away. This was our first stay at this Hilton property, in room 203. At first look, the room was spacious and clean, with a small kitchenette, full fridge, sink, and microwave. The king bed and couch were comfortable, the walk-in shower looked clean, and the mirror lighting was great. But some tile edges were poorly cleaned, with dust and mold, and the bottoms of the doors had minor maintenance issues. The price was reasonable, but I'm not sure I'd come back if I wanted to use amenities beyond the room.

Arya and Belle made our stay feel easy and comfortable, and I'm grateful for their warm personalities. We're in town after losing a loved one, and their kindness let us focus on why we were here. They were an absolute joy to deal with. MANAGEMENT, please give these two a raise, or at least a bonus!

The pool and hot tub were a major reason we booked, but we couldn't use them at all. Chlorine in the pool area was so overwhelming that our eyes, sinuses, and throats burned within seconds of entering. It stayed that way for all three nights and was never fixed, leaving little to do with the kids in the evenings except watch the limited cable TV. Later at night, when I was unwell and needed rest, children ran through the halls, banging on walls and doors near our room. Quiet hours didn't seem to be enforced, and sleeping was difficult. I contacted management, but got a minimal response that didn't address what I'd raised. For the price compared with nearby hotels, I expected better quality and care from a Hilton property. Check-in was poorly handled: one person was at the desk during an obvious rush, so we waited 25 minutes with our bags and nowhere to put them. There were no luggage carts at check-in or checkout, and luggage cluttered the lobby and entryway, making things stressful from the start. The room had several cleaning problems. There was visible hair, grime, and buildup in the shower, and later I found grease splatters from a previous guest on the microwave plate. These basic housekeeping issues should have been caught. This stay didn't match the Hilton brand or justify the price. We travel often and will be back in the area in March, but we'll choose somewhere else.
