Rocky was awesome and even offered to show us the room before we decided. For one night it was $67 for a big king-size bed, and the room smelled clean, not smoky at all. You can tell they're trying to renovate, and I applaud the effort. No complaints from me.

The bed was comfortable, there were no bugs in our room, and plenty of stores and places to go were within a five-minute drive. We didn't hear a peep from other rooms or outside ours. There were still some dirty areas and a faint cigarette smell, though, and the TV didn't work. The side doors don't lock, so it didn't feel very secure. You can see they're making a strong effort to renovate and update the place. It used to be a hub for people smoking in their rooms and misusing the property. For the most part, the price reflects the condition, so it's a fair and balanced place for a night or two. It's not a luxury spot yet. There aren't really any amenities in the hotel, and it isn't the cleanest, but the price is good and they're making an effort. Not a bad place to stay for a night.

The prices were reasonable and the staff were polite, but the rooms were disgusting. Mold was everywhere, including the shower curtain, floor, and air conditioner, and the toilet was dirty. The carpet was filthy, the lighting was very dim with bulbs missing, and there were belongings left by previous guests. The pillows smelled, too. If you want a clean room, there's no chance I'd recommend this place or stay here again.

The owner was extremely friendly and understanding when car trouble interrupted our road trip and brought us in for a late-night, last-minute stay. They even let us have extra time to check out while our vehicle was being worked on. We slept comfortably, and the walls were insulated well enough that we never heard other guests in the halls. A great place to rest for the night.
